THE GOOD NEWS BEARER

"What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; and what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops." ~ Matthew 10:27

Deborah Olutoyin Daniel

Deborah "Toyin" Daniel is an Evangelist, a Missionary, and Christian Author. She grew up in a strict religious household but found Christ on her own, when it became clear to her that she had no relationship whatsoever with Him in spite of her strict upbringing, and had no purpose in life.  Deborah surrendered her life to Christ in 1992, but kept running from her calling owing to the severe trials she faced and the cares of the world, until she had a personal encounter with Him in 1999. She steps out of her comfort zone as led to fulfill her calling.  She also speaks openly about her childhood difficulties and the struggles she has had in life, to testify of the mercy of God and His awesome power. For more messages and a heart talk on living a fulfilled life in Christ, get the book, Walk the Winning Walk - free and available to new converts/believers in Christ from Divine Literature International.

Serving the Lord 99.5% and the devil 0.5% is unacceptable. The Lord made it clear in Exodus 20:3-6. As a believer in Christ, you must be careful what name you are called; what name you give your children, your project, your business, and anything else that has to do with you. Names identify you physically and spiritually,...

Phony pastors can get away with preaching half the truth, for a while – they can amend diluted sermon the following Sunday.  Besides, half of the church members are most likely mature believers who read their Bibles and know what teachings to accept or reject. Evangelists on the other hand, cannot take chances. They must d...

The Bible says the fervent prayer of the righteous is powerful and very effective (James 5:16). This means that when believing spouses, family members, friends, associates etc., pray, the Lord listens and hearkens to their voices.  He loves to hear from them.  One Word of prayer they utter on your behalf can change your li...

I smile when unbelievers seem discouraged as I tend to switch to lengthy talks about Jesus. Be not deceived, it is only through Jesus Christ that genuine temporal and spiritual blessings are received (John 14:6, John 16:23, Acts 4:12, John 15:5, Ephesians 3:12). All things come from the Father through the Son (1 Corinthian...

Atheists call Believers in Christ, "Baa|Baa!" meaning, dumb sheep. You need to be current and hanging out with young people a little to hear these things. Sheep are totally dependent on a shepherd for their needs. They follow as the shepherd leads - no questions asked. They do not care to know if the shepherd knows what he...

It is important to surrender ALL to Jesus, not SOME, for your victory to be complete in Him. Sometimes we leave certain areas of our lives out of His control when we say, "Jesus, I surrender to you." Doing this implies that you are not sure that He is capable of being the Pillar of your life. It could also be that you stil...

The Bible says the fervent prayer of the righteous is powerful and very effective (James 5:16). This means that when genuine born-again spouses, family members, friends, or associates pray, the Lord listens and hearkens to their voices.  He loves to hear from them. One Word of prayer they utter on your behalf can change yo...

He that covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy (Proverbs 28:13).

Every sin committed in the past will arise in future and sting the offender unless it has been washed away by the Blood of Jesus. No matter how long ago the sin was committed, it will come back and haunt the...

Reflection: Exodus 20:3-6, Exodus 20:23

When I was still in the world, the idol I innocently worshipped was solid gold. I mean, I had so much of it that I wouldn't even remember some pieces until I needed them. I had my man-made god securely kept in the safe deposit box in a bank. You would never find me at church services...

 Reflection - Luke 16:19-31

Death does not respect anyone, friends! It is everyone's prayer to live a good long life, but death can visit the young, the old, the rich, the poor, a saint, or a sinner, at any time and at any place, according to God's will. After death, then comes judgment (Hebrews 9:27). There would be no mor...
