Deborah O Daniel (Toyin) is an Evangelist and a Christian Writer. She grew up in a strict religious household but found Christ on her own, when it became clear to her that she had no relationship whatsoever with Him in spite of her strict upbringing and had no purpose in life. Deborah surrendered her life to Christ in 1992 but kept running from her calling owing to the severe trials she faced and the cares of the world, until she had a personal encounter with Him years later.  She steps out of her comfort zone as led to fulfill her calling. She also speaks openly about her childhood difficulties and the struggles she has had in life, to testify of the mercy of God and His awesome power. ABORTION: THE SOPHISTICATED HUMAN SACRIFICE

Let us please be aware, and make good choices. Abortion is the same as human sacrifice, and one of the things the Lord hates as stated in the Bible (Proverbs 6:17) – Shedding of innocent blood. Hate is a very strong word. When we abort a pregnancy (even at a very early stage), we have sacrificed the life of another human being for our own freedom, lifestyle, and selfishness. Not everyone wants children, and that is OK; but then let us stay away from activities that produce children. Children are gifts from God that we asked for, the minute we made up our minds to go 'far'. The Bible says the Lord made and formed us from the womb (Isaiah 44:2). This means that human life begins right from the hour of conception - in the womb, and not after the baby is born. We are also commanded in the Lord's own hand-writing not to kill (Exodus 20:13). I know a sister who used to be in the world. I believe she is now in Christ. She was married with children, but tempted with the forbidden fruit of adultery. "Well," the Generous Lord said on the fateful day she made the choice to commit the sin of adultery one more time. He gave her three precious babies (triplets) from that singular act of disobedience. It became a big scandal. She made the admirable choice not to murder the three lovely babies (i.e., abort the pregnancy), but I know our Lord is rich in mercy, and the children will all turn out to be blessed individuals and vessels unto honour.

Sins committed in times of ignorance are forgiven once a person surrenders to Jesus Christ. Bear in mind though, that we are expected to work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12), for we cannot continue to sin and expect the grace of God to abound (Romans 6:1-2). May He continue to give us the grace to live holy in Jesus' Name. Now that we know the truth about abortion, may we make the right choices. May the Lord in His infinite mercies forgive all Christian Doctors/Gynaecologists who have performed abortions, and give them the courage to say, "No!"
