Deborah O Daniel (Toyin) is an Evangelist and a Christian Writer. She grew up in a strict religious household but found Christ on her own, when it became clear to her that she had no relationship whatsoever with Him in spite of her strict upbringing and had no purpose in life. Deborah surrendered her life to Christ in 1992 but kept running from her calling owing to the severe trials she faced and the cares of the world, until she had a personal encounter with Him years later.  She steps out of her comfort zone as led to fulfill her calling. She also speaks openly about her childhood difficulties and the struggles she has had in life, to testify of the mercy of God and His awesome power. GOD IS NOT A MAGICIAN

I smile when unbelievers seem discouraged as I tend to switch to lengthy talks about Jesus. Be not deceived, it is only through Jesus Christ that genuine temporal and spiritual blessings are received (John 14:6, John 16:23, Acts 4:12, John 15:5, Ephesians 3:12). All things come from the Father through the Son (1 Corinthians 8:6).

Dear ones: Quit running here and there - from church to church, from one prophet or prayer warrior to another, searching for blessings that will not be available to you until you surrender your life to Jesus Christ. Anyone giving you wonderful prophecies of miracles and Heaven on earth without laying emphasis on the salvation of your soul, has not heard right.

God gave His only begotten Son to us freely, without conditions. However, the blessings He gives come with conditions. Though the blessings are free, the conditions for which they are given must be fulfilled. The first step to receiving those blessings is to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

The most wonderful gift anyone can offer you is the Good News of Salvation. Don't wait for anyone to dream dreams, tell you they have foreseen the future on your behalf, or tell you a few lies before you feel the need to surrender your life to Jesus Christ - just to hear more from them, perhaps! A lot goes on in the Church today, with spiritual leaders making huge promises of blessings just to carve out their own little kingdoms and rob those who have chosen to have itching ears. No human being has the power to save you - not a pastor, prophet, an apostle, or evangelist. Seek after the Creator, not the creature.
