THE GOOD NEWS BEARER

"What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; and what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops." ~ Matthew 10:27

Deborah O Daniel (Toyin).png

Deborah O Daniel (Toyin) is an Evangelist and a Christian Writer. She grew up in a strict religious household but found Christ on her own, when it became clear to her that she had no relationship whatsoever with Him in spite of her strict upbringing and had no purpose in life. Deborah surrendered her life to Christ in 1992 but kept running from her calling owing to the severe trials she faced and the cares of the world, until she had a personal encounter with Him years later.  She steps out of her comfort zone as led to fulfill her calling. She also speaks openly about her childhood difficulties and the struggles she has had in life, to testify of the mercy of God and His awesome power. THE ‘ACCURSED’ KIND OF SUPPORT

Many believers do not know that some of those they look up to for support may not be the helpers God sent their way. They are disheartened when others fail them. God knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). He knows that some of those you have approached for support are talebearers. The minute they lift a finger to assist you, everyone in town has heard about it. If they are not the chatty types, they may become little messiahs over time and subtly demand to be worshipped. Some also have accursed resources in their possession, and the Lord wants no part of those. If you are His beloved, He will make them fail to assist you for your own protection.

When it comes to the things of the Lord, no one takes His glory, and no idol takes His praise (Isaiah 42:8). Seek Him diligently, beloved. He will point your divine helpers to you or make them seek you out in His own time. He can make them look all around for you (even from another continent), just to assist you.

Do not manipulate or put anyone under pressure to assist you if you have sought the help of the Ever Present Help. Wait upon Him, and ensure that you are living in obedience. Remember always, that His grace is sufficient for you. It is also important that you are a cheerful giver. A generous person is always blessed (Proverbs 11:25). As you remember others with the resources the Lord has entrusted to you, He will gladly attend to all that concerns you as well.

Shalom!
