NO SINNER DENIED! (2 Peter 3:9)

Phony preachers may get away with preaching half the truth, for a while – they have the liberty to amend diluted sermon for the next church service. Besides, half of the church members are most likely mature believers, who read their Bibles and know what teachings to accept or reject. Evangelists on the other hand, cannot take chances. They must deliver the Gospel undiluted to those who do not know right from wrong, and those they may never come across again in life.

As an Evangelist, and without claiming to be an all-knowing Bible-Scholar, I have searched the Bible, and am 100% certain that no part of it says there are some categories of sins that cannot be washed away by the Blood of Jesus. Jesus Christ said all sins shall be forgiven, except that of Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:31). All the Lord asks of unbelievers and backsliders, is to repent of their ways and make things right with Him (Ezekiel 18:21-23, 1 John 1:9, 2 Peter 3:9).

(1) THE LORD IS MERCIFUL (Acts 9:1-22): When Jesus called Saul of Tarsus (the most notorious enemy of the Church at the time) to service, a disciple named Ananias tried to remind Jesus how terrible Saul had been – “Lord, have you forgotten what this man did?” Jesus more or less said to him, “Son, I have not appointed you Counselor. Just do as I say”. Saul was more or less a murderer, but you cannot talk about the Bible today without recognizing the exploits he did for the Lord. He is the much-talked-about Paul the Apostle.

(2) THE LORD IS MERCIFUL (Jonah 3 and 4): When the Lord sent Jonah to the people of Nineveh to tell them their time of wickedness was over and they were going to perish, the people quickly repented of their ways. The Lord then withdrew His wrath from them. Jonah got really angry – to him, it seemed he was portrayed as a false prophet in the eyes of the people of Nineveh. The Lord put Jonah to order. “Punishing the people of Nineveh or not, is my call not yours”, the Lord seemed to say.

(3) THE LORD IS MERCIFUL (Luke 15:11-32): The parable of the prodigal son depicts how God reacts to backsliders who truly repent. He will not shut out any estranged child of His who still desires to have a relationship with Him. The danger is remaining in your backslidden state and not making reconciliation efforts.

The Blood of Jesus cleanses all manner of sin (1 John 1:7): Murder, Prostitution, Armed Robbery, Lying, Sorcery, and all other sins. No sin is any worse than the other in the eyes of the Lord (James 2:10). Do not let the devil rob you of another day of peace and continue to extend an invitation to you to spend eternity with him in the lake of fire. Repent and come to Jesus today. Tomorrow may just be too late!
