THE GOOD NEWS BEARER

"What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; and what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops." ~ Matthew 10:27

Deborah O Daniel (Toyin).png

Deborah O Daniel (Toyin) is an Evangelist and a Christian Writer. She grew up in a strict religious household but found Christ on her own, when it became clear to her that she had no relationship whatsoever with Him in spite of her strict upbringing and had no purpose in life. Deborah surrendered her life to Christ in 1992 but kept running from her calling owing to the severe trials she faced and the cares of the world, until she had a personal encounter with Him years later.  She steps out of her comfort zone as led to fulfill her calling. She also speaks openly about her childhood difficulties and the struggles she has had in life, to testify of the mercy of God and His awesome power. See our Repentance Images here for more on these sins and other sins, Bible verses with commentaries, consequences of sin, and how to be forgiven. https://www.doveletters.org/english-us-repentance

This message is not intended to judge or offend anyone, but to bring to light what constitutes Sin in the eyes of the Lord. Many are not aware that He disapproves of certain activities they indulge in. Gladly, all sins listed (but one) are forgivable.

What should a person who has committed any of these sins do to be forgiven? Read on!

"This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these(Galatians 5:16-21)

  • Adultery

  • Fornication

  • Other forms of Sexual Immorality (such as Prostitution, Sodomy - 1 Corinthians 6:9, Romans 1:26–27)

  • Lasciviousness (Lustful Pleasures - including Rape, Nudity and indulging in Pornography)

  • Strife (Dispute, Selfish Ambition)

Likewise, the seven things that the Lord hates [Proverbs 6:16-19]

  • A Proud Look

  • A Lying Tongue

  • Hands that shed innocent blood

  • A heart that devises wicked schemes

  • Feet that are quick to rush to evil

  • A False Witness that speaks lies

  • He that stirs up discord among brethren

Likewise, the sins the Lord stated in the Book of Revelation [Revelation 21:8]

  • The Cowardly

  • The Unbelieving

(Text from Galatians Continued: Galatians 5:21-26) …of which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONG-SUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

THE GOOD NEWS

The Bible says: The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). All sins deserve the wrathful judgment of God, but for His saving grace in His Son, Jesus Christ. In Christ, we have redemption through His Blood, by which our sins are forgiven (Ephesians 1:7). He alone is our Righteousness. It is not God's wish for anyone to perish (John 3:16, 2 Peter 3:9). Repent and surrender completely to Jesus to be cleansed of your sins and forgiven. Then commit to living a lifestyle of holiness.

Firmly in His Grip,

Deborah O Daniel (Toyin)
